whatIf? Technologies recently concluded an R&D collaboration with the University of Toronto and the City of Winnipeg (Manitoba), resulting in the development of
TransPLUM - a model to enable coordinated land use and transportation planning at the regional scale, while also offering quick scenario-turnaround capability.
The project received support through an NSERC Industrial Postgraduate Scholarship and formed the basis of an M.A.Sc. thesis. The Population and Land Use (PLUM) component of the project is currently being applied to the City of Winnipeg's transportation master planning process.
