Robert Hoffman was a participant at an international  'summit' held January 20-22, 2009  in Abu Dhabi, entitled Agenda for the New Millennium: Think Humanity. Think the Planet. Organized by the Kvasir Society and supported by the Emirates Foundation, the meeting brought together  a group 20 'thinkers' from 18 countries with a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds and life experiences. The Agenda meeting  was convened to develop an informed and holistic assessment of major global risks and problems and to address the urgent need for new approaches to address the key global challenges facing humanity and the planet.
